Countdown to Yule (Winter Solstice)
Both winter (Yule) and summer (Litha) solstice are my favourite holidays in the witchy calendar. Both feel like new beginnings in such different ways. This year my boxes are focusing on the falling into the softness of craft and wool in particular in these trying times.
For this Yule box I was drawn to the softness of snow and light and the way they play off each other. I also needed some trees and berries and snow because nothing says Yule to me more than those images. Yule is the longest night of the year, the darkest day and I find comfort in those dark days we are currently entering. The the darkest day also means the birth of the light again. I love the juxtaposition between the light and the dark, particularly within my own practice. This will be a ten day countdown to Yule, but there are no witch police and if you want to open it all at once, no one is coming after you for that!!
I did a poll on Instagram and y'all definitely wanted a sparkle option and you will get it, but don't worry there is also a non-sparkle option as well!!
Celebrate Yule with some yarn, wool and a whole lot of witchy ritual.
Each box includes 3 full sized skeins of my Cash sock/fingering (80 SW merino/10 cashmere/10 nylon) OR a sparkle fingering (80 sw merino/ 10 cashmere/10 sparkle) yarn dyed exclusively for the box. Spinners will receive 3 braids 87.5 polwarth/12.5 silk (5oz) or 88 polwarth/8.4 merino/3.6 sparkle fibre (4.5oz) in coordinating colours (consider the photo on the listing a guide to colour inspiration). Every box will also contain a few ritual/self-care items to use during the countdown to solstice including ideas and instructions on how to personalize your own rituals. These items could include crystals, candles, teas, knitting or spinning items or anything that catches my eye that I think would be great for you. Each box will also contain an individualized card pull for the winter season. Because these boxes will have a more luxury fibre they are a little bit more expensive than previous boxes.
Also play around with the extras options if you want. Once you purchase a box, you can order ANY of the extras you want. Want some sparkle fibre but also want to try some non-sparkle yarn? DO IT! The possibilities are endless, ok, not endless but you can have some fun!
Purchase of extra fibre or yarn MUST include a box purchase or will be otherwise refunded.

Please pick local pick up if you are in or will be in Calgary around shipping day. Any shipping overages will be refunded. These boxes will shipped out at the end of November, ensuring arrival ahead of the Countdown to Solstice. These boxes are also not eligible to be shipped to the US at this time because of the included extras. I'm so sorry about this.
Shipping cannot be combined on this with other products so please place a separate orders for multiple boxes and/or other products unless you're doing local pickup. Boxes are also not eligible for free shipping over $200, if you do accidentally combine shipping you will be invoiced separately.
