Sock (Emma) - Stage 4 Deserves More Than Pinkwashing
This is a colour created to raise money for the Turning the Page on Cancer read a thon fundraiser. $20 from each skein will go directly to the fundraiser to raise money for metastatic breast cancer. We chose pink, not because it's the colour that has become synonymous with corporate pink washing of breast cancer, but because it was the favourite colour of the Sam, the founder of Turning the Page on Cancer fundraiser, who sadly passed away earlier this year. If you're interested in donating to the fundraiser directly here is the link to my fundraising page
“Stage 4 Deserves More Than Pinkwashing” on Emma
80/20 SW Merino/nylon
This sock yarn has a unique 8 ply cabled texture, making it really round and bouncy.
All yarn is hand dyed using acid wash colour fast dyes in my small home studio. No two skeins, even from the same pot will be exactly the same. It is recommended to alternate rows when using multiple skeins of the same colourway.
Colours are represented as accurately as possible, but may appear different on individual screens.
Handwash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
